The pregnant Instagram star, 29, was due to appear at a meet and greet with fans in the city this weekend.

But the glamorous former hairdresser, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, axed the event at the St Enoch centre to focus on her unborn child’s health after the hospital dash.

Sophie was touring as she promote and sign copies of her new book Hinch Yourself Happy.

The social media star said she had been scared to make the announcement about axing the tour but insisted she must put her baby’s health first as medics continue to monitor his condition.

Why was Mrs Hinch rushed to hospital, is Baby Hinch okay and what has Sophie Hinchliffe said?

She told her 2.4million followers on Instagram: "My Hinchers, I am absolutely devastated to say that the very difficult decision has been made to cancel my remaining book tour dates in Glasgow, London and Southampton.

"I am so sorry to let you all down [unhappy emoji]. This has been the hardest decision for me to make, and this is the hardest message I've ever had to type and I can't deny how scared I'm feeling inside right now.

"Penguin, through WHSmiths and Waterstones, will be in contact via email with you all my Hinchers to organise your full refunds.

"I really hope you all understand I need to look after my mini Hinch and put his health first but I'll be back with you all hinching as soon as I can.”

Mrs Hinch says she'd 'never say never' to hiring a CLEANER after catapulting to fame on Instagram
