Fiona Bruce earning ‘£400k’ a year after taking over BBC’s Question Time

QUESTION Time host Fiona Bruce is poised to become one of the BBC’s top ten earners — reportedly raking in about £400,000 a year.

Her pay has rocketed after her first full year anchoring the BBC1 debate programme.

The 56-year-old, who also presents Antiques Roadshow, earned up to £259,999 last year.

But that included only ten Question Time episodes.

Her rise comes as the Beeb tries to close its gender pay gap.

And it makes her one of the corporation's top earners.

Zoe Ball and Claudia Winkleman — who both earned up to £379,999 last year — and Vanessa Feltz were the only women in the top ten last year.

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker was the best paid star on £1.75million.
