Nacho Novo’s model girlfriend opens up about Rangers legend’s recovery at home

The Ibrox star has been catching up on football and getting a haircut while he recovers from a heart attack at his Glasgow home - and he can't wait to get back behind the bar of his Gers-themed boozer

NACHO Novo's model girlfriend has revealed the Rangers legend is on the mend at home - even getting a barber in to chop his barnet.

Stephanie Heaney, 33, opened up about her relief at having the Spaniard home and insisted Novo was taking it easy.

The mum of two, from Busby, near Glasgow, said: “Nacho’s taking slow walks, getting his strength back.

“He’s been eating lots of fresh fruit, fish and veg and catching up on football.

Writing online. she added: “He’s getting lots of love and cuddles but needs lots of peace and quiet to relax.”

And she thanked AJ Barbers on the city's Paisley road for going "out of their way" to give her man a trim.

She said: "Thank you so much to Karen for coming to cut Nachos hair.

"Brilliant hair cut and really appreciate you going out of your way, highly recommend.

"Nacho loves his hair cut."

We told earlier how Nacho has admitted he can’t wait to return to his Rangers-themed boozer following his heart attack scare.

The Ibrox idol, 38, told how he’s getting “stronger” by the day and itching to be back among fans at NN10.

And he revealed supporters’ well wishes boosted him as he recovered from his shock collapse at a legends footie tournament nearly three weeks ago.

Writing on Facebook after flying back to Scotland from hospital in Berlin, Germany, the ex-striker said: “I am feeling better and stronger and thanking you all for the support throughout the last few weeks.

“The continuous love and encouraging messages have really lifted my spirits.

“I’m excited to get back into NN10 and see you all.”
