RVD competes all around the world on the indies, which is surprising to most people because he is popular enough to still be a big name on television, which is why many fans forgot he was still working. RVD isn't interested in working a regular schedule, so just appearing whenever he wants works out.

Crowbar may not have been a main event name in professional wrestling, but he had some fantastic performances throughout his career which allowed him to make a name for himself. However, he also picked up a full-time job away from the ring in physical therapy, which is why he may not be someone most fans think about.

However, the former WWE and WCW star has continued to wrestle regularly on the independent scene where he puts on some great performances. Inside the ring, Crowbar is still able go at the highest level, and that is something that has been able to work for him.

Scotty 2 Hotty was a big part of the Attitude Era, but because the majority of fans knew that he was still working for WWE behind the scenes as a coach at the Performance Center, people thought he was done inside the ring. That was the case for a long time, but he then opted to leave that job to get back into the ring.

Scotty 2 Hotty felt he had more left in the tank, and that is something which he has been displaying ever since, putting on performances for fans. He has worked on the independent scene regularly since that point, touring the world to remain as active as possible.

7 X-Pac

Most people presumed that X-Pac's career was finished when it came to in-ring competition, with a lot of fans just expecting to see him for D-Generation X reunions or at conventions. However, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer is still active in the ring when he needs to be, working on the independent scene.

X-Pac is in fantastic shape at the moment, which is allowing him to perform at a high level still, with the legendary star having admitted that he would like to compete one more time for WWE in the Royal Rumble.

6 Scott Steiner

At 60-years-old most wrestling fans presumed that Scott Steiner's in-ring career was wrapped up, but the wrestling legend is still performing on the independent scene. Because he was known for his physique there is plenty of pressure on him to remain in that condition, which is exactly what he does.

Steiner still looks like one of the most dominant wrestlers in the business, being physically imposing over anybody he steps inside the ring with. While he isn't able to bust out all of his old moves, the Hall of Famer is still competing regularly and proving himself as an entertaining part of the business.

5 Gangrel

Gangrel worked in the Attitude Era and showcased a great level of charisma and in-ring ability, and that is something that he still does to this day. Gangrel competes regularly, remaining one of the most active men in the business from that period, proving that fans are still just as excited to see him today as they were then.

It has been a fantastic career already for The Brood leader, and the fact that he has is still getting booked on a frequent basis showcases the fact that he's got a lot to offer the business.

Tatanka had a great career during his main run in the wrestling business, and there's no doubt he could have rested on that if he wanted to. However, that isn't the case for Tatanka, as he still competes occasionally on the independent scene, keeping his career alive.

He's a popular name on independent shows due to the career that he has had, with fans associating the great times that he provided throughout his run in WWE.

Jeff Jarrett has had an incredible career away from the ring, having achieved a lot behind the scenes whether that be in TNA or WWE, and because of that he could easily have ended his in-ring career and focused on that. However, that hasn't been the case for him, as the Hall of Famer still wrestles to this day.

Whether he was teaming up to compete against Ric Flair in his retirement match, or working for GCW, Jarrett is still able to get the job done inside the ring. With a guitar in his hand, Jarrett is able to put on a great encounter as he remains in good shape.

Booker T is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, with the two-time Hall of Famer having achieved everything there is to do in the wrestling industry. Because he is such a big name, the former World Champion returning to the ring is something that could be a huge deal if it was done in WWE.

With Lawler's heart incident as well, fans thought that he was done because of his own health, but that isn't the case.

The WWE Hall of Famer still remains part of the wrestling business, competing regularly on the independent scene. Lawler keeps himself extremely active, and the fact he can still perform at a good level and entertain the fans showcases why he's one of the best to ever do it.
