Stanley Barbie Icon Quencher, from £55

Stanley has been busy creating more designs and styles than ever, and the latest addition is the Barbie Icon Quencher, which comes in two sizes 0.8L, as well as 1.2L that fetch £55 and £60 respectively.

The Barbie Icon Quencher retails for a slightly price than the iconic Stanley Quenchers, and this is because it is a limited edition design to mark a major Barbie milestone.

The Sun's Zoe Bennetts reviewed the classic Quencher, and gave it her seal of approval, so if you love Barbie or want to expand your collection you will be impressed.

The Barbie pink designs were the first to drop the virtual shelves to mark the 65th birthday of the famous doll, followed by the Barbie 1959 Quencher and 60s Twist and Turn, which represent Barbie through the decades.

The fun doesn't stop there as there are set to be even more releases from Stanley throughout September at 5pm BST every day.

The Barbie Icon Quencher features the same style as the brand's signature drinks bottle - though I feel that is a limited description for this multipurpose design that is a water bottle, cooler and thermos, plus a stylish accessory, in one.

The main difference is the Barbie Icon Quenchers come in a fuchsia pink synonymous with Barbie's beloved colour palette, and features the Barbie logo emblazoned on the front of both tumblers.

  • Barbie Icon Quencher 1.2L, £60 - buy here

Both designs are available to shop exclusively online at Stanley.

The new Barbie collection comes shortly after the release of a brand new Quencher size, which is 0.8L.

The new size is 0.8L and features a slightly narrower base that will fit most cup holders.

It's still pretty generously sized, but a bit more convenient for on-the-go use than the original 1.2L version.

Of course, the Quencher H2.0 still boasts all of the famous features of the original, including double-wall vacuum insulation, dishwasher-safe and BPA-free material, and a comfortable grip handle.

While the Barbie capsule is a higher price point, other colours of the Quencher 0.8L are cheaper and priced at £40 instead of £45 for the larger version - or £55 in the Barbie style.

As one of 2023's must-have products — going viral on social media and repeatedly selling out — we're happy to see more additions to the lineup for 2024.

So if you’re eager to get your hands on one of the collectable Stanley Quenchers in the UK, whether it is a classic colourway, a limited edition Barbie design or other iconic figurine, or the smaller tumbler, here's everything you need to know to secure the goods.

Barbie™ x Stanley Collab

The collection will be available to buy from Stanley’s UK site and prices range from £55 to £60, depending on the size (available in 30oz and 40oz).

Where to buy the Stanley Quencher Cup online in the UK?

Stanley Quencher cups are available to buy directly from Stanley's website, but there are plenty of other UK stockists you can shop from including:

In January, Stanley launched the Swirl Collection, featuring Polar Swirl and Rose Quartz Swirl designs.

If that wasn't enough, Stanley also added new Lilac and Ash shades in March, and the new Plum Quencher in April.

Earlier this year the brand also revealed its 'Heather' baby blue design, and 'Cool Serene Brushstroke', a paint stroke-inspired blue bottle that's perfect for summer.

These were accompanied by 'Peony' a floral pink design, 'Nectarine' which is a bright nectarine hue, 'Mist' a misty blue shade and 'Hammertone Green' - a true khaki green.

Prefer to shop in person? You can also find the Stanley Quencher at select UK stores.

Although availability can be unpredictable, especially for limited editions like the Barbie collab, so it’s worth checking John Lewis, Foot Asylum, Fruugo, and Urban Outfitters.

Known for its trend-driven stock, Selfridges is a good bet for limited releases, and Harrods often carries the limited-edition collections.

You can also try outdoor and camping shops such as Go Outdoors and Cotswold Outdoor that stock Stanley products.

It's worth keeping an eye on all these retailers though as we expect the Quencher cup to be restocked due to popular demand.

The Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler is a large insulated cup with a slim base design that fits into a car cup holder and comes in several colours.

The ergonomically shaped handle and lid with a rotating cover make it the ideal travel companion.

It also has a splash-resistant straw opening and a full-cover closure with a silicone seal around the straw base to help prevent spills.

It is made of 90% recycled stainless steel with a capacity of 1.18L, and the design will keep drinks cold for 11 hours.

Plus the hard-wearing design is built for life and each purchase comes with a lifetime warranty.

When will the Stanley Quencher be back in stock in the UK?

The Stanley Quencher is available on the Stanley website, but if it has sold out (again) you can sign up for the waiting list online.

The new shades go fast, so don't hang around - however, you may still be able to snap it up in some older colourways.

If you miss out this time, we would advise signing up for an alert in advance to ensure you don't miss out next time they are restocked.

However, some colours of the cup are still available from Amazon and Fruugo, with other styles of cup also available at other retailers such as John Lewis, Urban Outfitters and Foot Asylum.

If it does sell out we also recommend the Stanley Aerolight Transit Mug, which can house hot and cold beverages to be taken on the go - plus it's more affordable than the Quencher.

Why is the Stanley Quencher Cup so popular?

As with many things, once they go viral on TikTok, they sell out pretty quickly.

The Stanley Quencher is no exception, and with 127 million views for #StanleyTumbler on TikTok, the cup has quickly earned a reputation as America’s most popular tumbler.

Its Tiktok success combined with an aesthetically pleasing design has made it a huge hit.

The Stanley Quencher have been a huge hit with shoppers - in fact the Rose Quartz Glow was the exact colour that Adele sipped from during her appearance on the last ever Carpool Karaoke with James Corden on The Late Late Show.

Since it was spotted with Adele, the Rose Quartz Glow Quencher has been highly sought after.
