How can I get a cheaper Vodafone plan?
Unlike many network providers, Vodafone has set up a dedicated page to answer this exact question.
If your employer is part of the Vodafone Advantage Scheme, for instance, you'll be able to get access to exclusive savings or offers on a range of Vodafone plans.
NHS workers and individuals employed by the Military and Ministry of Defence also get discounts, alongside students enrolled in UK university courses.
Vodafone also offers family plans as part of its “Vodafone Together” offering, which enables a 30 per cent discount on additional SIMs, and up to £3 monthly savings on broadband plans, among other things.
Finally, if you feel bold enough to haggle, we have prepared a useful guide for you.
Does Vodafone price match?
No, Vodafone does not typically offer price match options directly from its website.
However, there are several third-party websites such as Carphone Warehouse that do offer a price match guarantee and sell Vodafone deals.
You can check out the Vodafone page on the Carphone Warehouse website here.
Do you get a free upgrade with Vodafone?
You can potentially get a free upgrade with Vodafone, but there are a few caveats to consider.
To upgrade your phone as part of the company's Annual Upgrade Promise, you'll need to have bought an eligible phone from Vodafone.
After 12 months from purchase, you'll be able to upgrade to the latest model, or another phone, as long as you pick a plan that costs the same (or more) as your original one.
When you upgrade, you'll have to return your old phone to Vodafone, and you won't have to pay any early upgrade fees.
Can I keep my number when I switch to Vodafone?
Yes, keeping your number is very easy when switching to Vodafone.
Simply call your current network provider and ask them for a Porting Authorising Code (PAC). It will start with VOE- or VCN-.
After obtaining the code and purchasing a Vodafone plan, simply call them for free on 08080 408 408 (from your Vodafone number) and give them your PAC code.
The number will then be linked to your new plan within 48 working hours.
What are the best handsets to get on Vodafone?

Is Vodafone a good network?
According to Which? Vodafone is the third-biggest in the UK, counting around 17.5 million customers.
It's so large, in fact, that both Lebara and Virgin Mobile rely on the Vodafone network to provide their services.
Additionally, Vodafone has more roaming destinations than any other UK network, including Australia, Canada, and the US.
The full list includes 75 countries in which Vodafone customers can roam completely free of charge.
Is Vodafone's coverage good?
Vodafone offers a handy Network Status Checker to make sure you can check out how coverage is in your area before you purchase a plan.
That being said, according to data from Money Super Market, Vodafone is second only to EE when it comes to coverage.
The company's 4G, 3G and 2G networks reportedly cover 99% of the UK, and its expanding 5G network is already available in major cities throughout Britain, with additional ones planned to be added in the near future.
