John Hand is News and Crime Correspondent at the Irish Sun and co-author of the No 1 bestselling book Kinahan Assassins. John joined the Irish Sun in 2015 where he worked on thesun.ie website before he was a News Reporter. He left to join the Irish Mirror as its Chief Reporter in 2021 before he returned to the Irish Sun to take up his current role in January 2024. He regularly contributes to radio across national broadcasters. John reports on a large range of issues, including organised crime, interviewing victims of crime, court cases along with covering human interest stories.
