InDepthSimulations Reveals Exterior Modelling of Dash 8-Q300 '99% Done'
More previews have been shared by developer InDepthSimulations, who is currently working on the De Havilland Canada Dash 8-Q300.
Announced on the x-plane.org forum nearly a year ago, the developer has slowly progressed with various aspects of the 3D modelling of the twin-engined turboprop airliner, and today sees the latest with regards to the exterior.
According to a post on the same thread, the exterior is about 99% done. Brady said: "Right now focusing on the cockpit which is about 60% done I would say. Cockpit is what will be uploaded next which you can all drop your jaws on 🙂."
Another render shared at the beginning of September shows work being completed in the cabin:
The Dash 8 turboprop was initially designed and produced by De Havilland Canada. It was later sold to other companies including Bombardier Aerospace before De Havilland Canada regained the programme.
Other Dash 8 projects in the works by other developers include Skyline Simulations' Q100, Q200 and Q300, and FlyJSim's huge rebuild of their Q400 named the Q4XP.
InDepthSimulations has a Discord server, available to join here. For more previews from earlier in the year, see our coverage here.
