Jethro doesn't want to to pay what Saban would command. Also doesn't want to give up the control Saban would require. Jethro hires head coaches who he's familiar with, relatively cheap, and controllable.

Also, why is it that when any commentator talks about a college QB an NFL team might want to draft either in 2026 or 2037, the only name they can ever come up with is a guy who hasn't even been a regular starter yet? Are they that lazy?
