My dad used to say wear something long enough and you can see it come in and out of style two or three times.

So caps that white men have been wearing for years are now a new fashion trend called "Dad Hats?"

They need to stop appropriating my culture.

I wear the Finley "Dad Hat". It's a few years old. So Dad Hat has been a thing for at least that long.

I thought this was going to be a reference to the style of hat that Cam Newton was wearing at his presser Sun.
It sounds like the key is to wear it ironically. Then it goes from canvas cap to "dad hat"?

Same.
And I wear flatbills.
And cowboy hats.
Basically, whatever the frick I want, whenever the frick I want, regardless of what's supposedly in or out of style. And I make it look good.
Because I'm a grown arse man.

I bet everyone shitting on flatbills is a member of the "who cares what other men wear?" camp.
It's not that I care what other men are wearing. Its that it seems like every time I see a cap that I think I might like to own, it is only offered in a flatbill style.
