Marilyn Monroe's Famous Palm Springs House Was Burglarized
Marilyn Monroe Famous Palm Springs House Burglarized
Marilyn Monroe's former Palm Springs bungalow was burgled Tuesday ... but we're told the crooks got away.
Law enforcement tells us they responded to an active burglar alarm and immediately saw the front door had been kicked in.
The home was recently owned by an elderly woman but it appears she died recently and the home was sitting vacant.
We're told officers combed the area and found power tools on a nearby lawn that appeared to have been stolen from the house.
Marilyn called the bungalow her second home in the late '50s, and Palm Springs proudly displayed a statue honoring the star until 2014.
So far, no suspects.
