Remember when the Fast and Furious films killed off Han and he actually stayed dead for a while? Yeah, those were much simpler times. The franchise eventually brought the character back to life, but not before a hiatus that lasted a couple of installments.

Makes you wonder how things would have turned out if Han actually stayed dead. For one thing, Sung Kang—the actor who plays him—might not be as big of a name in Hollywood if the franchise went this route. We reckon, though, it wouldn’t have been too big of a deal to him since he has a hobby that keeps him busy enough in his downtime.

In case you didn’t know, Kang is actually a bonafide car guy in real life. He’s a particular fan of Nissan’s Z cars. In fact, we featured one of his rides, the Doc Z, ahead of its appearance at the 2021 Specialty Equipment Market Association show (SEMA) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Anyway, in 2015 Kang adopted a beat-up 240Z via Craigslist and revived it, transforming it into a tricked-out JDM beauty dubbed the Fugu Z. Here he is showing off his car to promote Gran Truismo 7:

“I can’t put a monetary value on it because how do you put a value on all the shared experiences with all these amazing people in my life,” Kang said regarding his car collection and the people who helped him build it.

Besides being a tribute to Kang’s passion for Nissans, the video above is actually an impressive display of Gran Truism0 7’s car customization features. Have you been able to grab your copy yet?
