Neelum Valley

Neelam (Also spelled Neelum) (Urdu: نیلم ) is a village in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 93 kilometers (58 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) from Athmuqam on the bank of Neelam River at the altitude of 1,524 meters (5,000 ft). Keran is 2.5 kilometers (1.6 mi) away from here.

Location

The Neelam district is bordered on the north and north-east by the Diamer District, the Astore District, and the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan, on the south by the Kupwara District and the Bandipora District of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, on the south-west by the Muzaffarabad District, and by the west by the Mansehra District of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
