Goofy's Playhouse

Toontown must have more celebrity homes per acre than Malibu or Beverly Hills. Goofy built his rickety-looking house just across the plaza from his pals Minnie and Mickey Mouse, and it's open to visitors.

This house is as "goofy" as its inhabitant. Inside the house, the things kids can do all the things they aren't supposed to do indoors: climb on the furniture, peek inside his crazy cupboards — and even play the piano.

Outside, adults can take a rest in a shady area while the kids burn off their energy in the garden. It's filled with popcorn stalks, spinning flowers, carved pumpkins, and bell peppers that are real bells.

The playhouse is an excellent place to take the youngsters to let them run around. Adults like it better than some of the other houses in Toontown for its combination of details and things for their kids to do. The fact that it never has a line is a plus, especially if an impatient child is tugging on you, saying they want to do something instead of standing in lines.

Fun Facts About Goofy and His Playhouse

Goofy's full name is Goofy Goof, but he is also sometimes called Goofus G. Dawg. He has been romantically linked to Clarabelle Cow, who he started dating in the 1960s. They have not been seen together in many years. Rumor has it that Clarabelle has been seen in Italy, appearing in comics there as Clarabella, the girlfriend of Horace Horsecollar.

When this attraction first opened, it was called Goofy's Bounce House, a ball crawl with padded walls and furniture. It was redone in 2006.

Look to the top of the roof and you'll see Goofy’s trademark green hat.

When you get done exploring Goofy's house, you can see him again in California Adventure at Goofy's Sky School.
