All of my Dragn Age main characters in one picture. I attempted to use this one as my background image, but tumblr never got the size right. So from left to right: First is my warden Meneliel Surana. She is a city elf who lived in Highever's alienage before her magical talent was discovered and she was taken to the Circle of Magi. She is usually kind and diplomatic, always trying to judge a matter from all possible angles and is able to show compassion towards people who have seriously messed up (yes, I'm lookng at you, Jowan). But she also knows when the prioraty is to get things done and is also ready to drop a joke or a cynical comment every now and then. She first fell in love with Alistair. But her fellow warden ended the relationship after he was named king (thanks to her, could've shown a little back bone here). But she soon found her home at Zevran's side afterwards. (that's right, people. I romanced Alistair AND Zevran in one playthrough). Next in line is Amal Hawke, the legendary Champion of Kirkwall. As an apostate she had to be extra careful about hiding her abilities, especially under Knight Commander Meredith's watchful eyes, but to Amal nothing she wasn't already well versed in (Malcolm taught her how to avoid and deal with unwanted attention). She is a charming, sarcastic wannabe asshole who ends up cleaning up everyone's mess in the end anyway. She fell hard and fast for the grumpy beautiful elf that was Fenris which was a new challange on its own, because she is a mage and Fenris hates mages. Alas, he doesn't even know how he ended up with her, but nontheless having a mage on his side for a change is not so bad. And last but not least, my Inquisitor, the Herald of Andraste, Haleth Adaar. Thrown into the role without a clue about what even has been happening and no plan whatsoever, she accepts her role as the Inqusitor and tries to fix the chaos as best as she can, only relying on her own consciousness. She stumbles over her own words at the beginning but gains more confidence as a leader as the situation developes. Formerly a member of the Valo Kaas mercenarys she learned to rely on teamwork and companionship in order to pull things through. That's why she tries to maintain a close and friendly relationship with every member of her inner circle. Her heart is quickly claimed by the loud, painfully funny (those puns, seriously) and very capabale Iron Bull. He is the first one she actually comitted a serious relationship to and is fascinated and amazed about how it could be when two qunari show actual love and passion towards eachother. As a mage she complements his warrior prowess and bonds with his chargers quickly as a former mercenary herself and eventually adopts them with him as their children. Their favorite pair activity is dragon hunting right after sex.
