Led by Māori Wāhine supporting our community, our services are whānau-centred and sit within a kaupapa Māori framework. We are here to support:

Tamariki - Child
Tāne - Men
Rangatahi - Youth
Pakeke - Adult
Kaumātua - Elderly
LGBTQIA+ community.
We take a Kaupapa Māori approach with the key principles being:
Whānaungatanga - Building effective, meaningful relationships and protecting safe connections.
Mana - Acting with professionalism at all times and empowering whānau.
Tino Rangatiratanga - Honoring of diversity, autonomy, and freedom of all people's right to determine their own future.
Whakapapa - Honoring an individual’s whakapapa in all aspects.
Manaakitanga - By sharing, hosting and being generous.
Aroha - By showing love and respect with all that we do.
Mahaki - By showing humility when sharing knowledge.
Te Whare Oranga Wairua is affiliated to the National Collective of Independent Women's Refuges (NCIWR).
