When is Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder Casemiro back from suspension?

Since his arrival from Real Madrid in the summer, it’s safe to say that Casemiro has been an integral part of Erik ten Hag‘s side. He’s the metronome in the middle, the commanding force and the bite of the side, meaning that when the Red Devils are without him – the side looks monumentally different.

This is why when he was sent off for the second time this season against Southampton earlier in March, there was a lot of anguish amongst fans, knowing that a second straight red card meant a four-game suspension for the 31-year-old in the league.

When is Casemiro back from suspension?

Casemiro is officially allowed to play in the Premier League again on Sunday the 16th of April 2023 – when United travel to Nottingham Forest.

This means he’s back for the next league fixture! Great news.

It’ll have been over a month since we’ve seen the Rolls Royce of a midfielder feature in England’s top flight.

Can Casemiro play against Sevilla in the Europa League?

Yes – Casemiro is absolutely fine to feature in United’s Europa League clash with Sevilla.

The rules state that the ban does not affect European or domestic cup matches.
