Styling Tips for Your New Sunny Glow Wig
Have you checked out our latest synthetic wigs summer collection? We have some special styling tips for your new Sunny Glow wig. This wig comes combed backwards without a parting line when you receive it. This allows you to personalize the style to suit your unique taste. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you style your new Sunny Glow wig.
Step 1: Preparing the Wig
Sunny Glow is a lace front wig. Please trim the lace carefully to blend with your natural hairline. If you’re new to lace front wigs, do not cut it directly on your head. you can first mark the hairline with a white pen while placing the wig on head. Then take it off. Use sharp, small scissors to trim the lace. Ensure to leave about a quarter-inch of lace to avoid cutting too close to the hairline.
Step 2: Finding the Parting Line
The Sunny Glow wig arrives with the hair combed backwards, so you can part the hair by yourself. Here’s how to create the perfect parting line:
Wet the Hair: Use a spray bottle filled with water to lightly mist the hair. This makes it easier to manage and part. Don’t drench it - a light mist will suffice.
Part the Hair: Decide where you want your parting line to be. Use your fingers or a rat-tail comb to gently create the part. Start from the front of the hairline and work your way back. This ensures the part is straight and even.
Step 3: Setting the Parting Line
To make sure your parting line stays in place and looks natural, you can use a hot comb. Spray a some heat-protecting spray first. This is crucial as it protects the synthetic fibers from heat damage. Set your hot comb to a low heat setting - synthetic wigs are sensitive to high temperatures and can easily get damaged. Gently comb the hair near the parting line. This will help the hair lay flat and keep the parting in place. Be careful not to hold the comb in one place for too long to avoid damaging the fibers.
Step 4: Adding Volume
Some people prefer a voluminous look. But how? We want to share two ways. The first way is to use a wide-tooth comb to tease the roots gently. The second way is to apply a mousse designed for synthetic wigs. These ways can add body without weighing the hair down.
There’re some other hair tricks you can do too. For example, accessorize your wig. Headbands, scarves, and hair clips... add a fun touch to your summer style. Just be gentle to avoid pulling on the fibers.
By following these styling tips, you can make your Sunny Glow wig more natural and unique. Enjoy the process, experiment with different looks, and most importantly, have fun showcasing your new, stunning Sunny Glow wig!
