Considering a career in military medicine? Have you heard of the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)?
Maj. David Flick, an AR-MEDCOM family physician who is also flight surgeon qualified, helps those considering a career in Army medicine in a special way. Flick, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colo., partners with the U.S. Army Medical Recruiting Brigade to coach and mentor medical students who start the process of joining the Army to gain medical expertise. Given his experience both on Active Duty, the Reserve, and in the civilian sector, Flick can fill in prospects on what life is like for an Army doctor. He has also worked with Active Duty doctors who, like him, are considering continuing their service to the Nation in the Reserve.
If you're interested in furthering your career or taking advantage of some of the education incentives offered by Army medicine, please reach out to your nearest US Army Medical Recruiting Brigade recruiting station!
