While fans all over the world mourn Carrie Fisher, they will perhaps find it a small comfort to know she was busy with film and TV projects before she died on Tuesday. The actress, who famously played Princess Leia in the Star Wars films, had completed voice work for two upcoming Family Guy episodes, Variety reports. Air dates for the episodes have not yet been announced.

This won't be Fisher's first time on the animated comedy series (which has done numerous Star Wars parodies). The actress provided voice work for the show over a dozen times in the role of Angela, a work supervisor to lead character Peter Griffin (voiced by show creator Seth MacFarlane).

MacFarlane shared his sad tribute to Fisher after the news of her death broke, calling her "smart, funny, talented, surprising, and always a hell of a fun time to be around."

Star Wars fans will also be happy to know Fisher already wrapped filming a surprise cameo for the upcoming Episode VIII. She reprised her famous role for last year's The Force Awakens, moving up from Princess to General Leia Organa this time around. On Tuesday, tributes for Fisher rolled in from Star Wars luminaries like George Lucas, Kathleen Kennedy, and J.J. Abrams and co-stars like Billy Dee Williams and Harrison Ford, who remembers the multi-talented actress, writer, and sought-after script doctor as “brilliant, original” and “funny and emotionally fearless.”

Fisher had also wrapped filming on the third season of Amazon dramedy Catastrophe, created by Sharon Horgan. She was on a flight back to Los Angeles after filming for the show in London when she suffered her heart attack. She will appear in one episode of the new season, according to Variety, which will air this spring. Horgan posted a sweet tribute to Fisher on Instagram.

“She certainly wasn't ready to go,” Horgan writes. “I'm so glad we became pals. I'm so devastated at her loss.”

Fisher was also slated to star in the sci-fi film Wonderwell, though it's unclear whether she began filming.

Heartsick fans can also catch her in the documentary Bright Lights, about her relationship with mother Debbie Reynolds. The doc, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, will air on HBO next March.

Reynolds, who is 84, shared a message on Facebook about her daughter's death shortly after Fisher passed away.

“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carrie’s Mother.”
