Jaco Nightlife – Bars, Lounges, & Clubs
For those of you looking for a more mellow evening, some delicious Italian ice cream at Barco’s or Pops might suffice. Or maybe it’s just a couple of drinks in a laid-back lounge, but one thing is for sure, Jaco’s night scene is one of the best in Costa Rica. There is no shortage of great bars and clubs in Jaco. So relax, go out, and live a little.
Green Room
The Green Room in Jaco is a popular bar and restaurant right in the center of town. If you are looking for some live music then it is definitely your spot as they typically have live music every night. Featuring a great selection of craft brews, Green Room is a terrific spot to chill and grab a few drinks.
Le Loft
The Loft is a trendy bar and lounge located right in the center of Jaco. Located in the tall red building on the second floor. Full AC, great music, and VIP service think South Beach in Jaco. Party doesn’t really get started here until nearly midnight, so might want to start elsewhere and make your way here later in the night.
Locales
Locales is a very popular sports bar and restaurant in the center of Jaco. With an amazing variety of local and international beers, with both air conditioning and outdoor seating, Locales is definitely the spot to begin your night or to just casually grab a couple of drinks. This is one of Jaco’s newest editions to the night scene. A larger, air-conditioned disco is located in the Crocs resort and is one of the most popular spots to be on the weekend.
Orabge Pub
If you want to be in a busy bar surrounded by 20-year-old locals, then Orange Pub is probably the place for you. Located on the main drag of Jaco Beach, Orange Pub is a popular weekend and late-night spot for Jaco locals. Don’t expect much though before 10 pm.
Cocal Hotel & Casino
Ok, so if you are at the Cocal after 6 pm, then it’s probably safe to say you aren’t on a family vacation. Widely known as the central place to find working girls, this central hotel is going to have its share of beautiful girls on any given night. But don’t worry, prostitution is legal in Costa Rica, and the girls don’t bite. If that’s not your thing, just stay away from Cocal, if it is, be careful to not fall in love.
