It's official! Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expecting their first baby

This year has seen some of the world's most loved celebrity duos sharing good news with their fans, and just minutes ago, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have taken over the internet with a surprise of their own. The duo are expecting their first baby, who is due in January 2021! This means that Sharma is already officially three months into her pregnancy, and the couple, we can all agree, have done a great job so far of keeping this exciting life update under wraps. Shared on both, Sharma and Kohli's official Instagram pages, the identical posts announcing Anushka Sharma's pregnancy showed both parents-to-be smiling into the camera from their Mumbai home. While Kohli was seen standing behind his wife in a comfy grey tee, a glowing Anushka Sharma showed off her baby bump for the photograph in a roomy polka dotted dress with sheer sleeves and romantic ruffle detailing along its edges. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021 ❤️🙏,” read both posts' captions, and Sharma's has already earned thousands of likes, along with congratulatory messages from fans and friends including Alia Bhatt, Sania Mirza, Taapsee Pannu and Samantha Akkineni.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot on December 11, 2017 in a secret ceremony in Tuscany, and have quickly become one of India's most-followed couples. Their baby bump reveal is the latest in a string of sweet announcements, including those of second-time mom-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katy Perry, and Gigi Hadid.
