Bad choice

Location was bad, hot water was in short supply, no chair in BR so changing cloths/shoes had to be done sitting on the toilet or shower seat, no room for corn hole game, child safety barrier near pool virtually eliminated area void of sun & of course no umbrellas, no faucet/hose on lower level for washing dogs feet; there was one on top deck where there was no need, no hair dryers and I paid $20,000 for this piece of crap!

Beautiful Home!

This property was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking tools, pans, etc. Our group of 10 was comfortable and would definitely return.

oak island beach place

oven did not work. dryer did not work. Repairman confirmed it did not work and Oak Island management did not get it fixed. Place was not clean. Repairment took pics of the dirt on the walls and ceiling fans. i did not get what was advertised.

Great for multiple families and nice house!

This was a great beach house and we enjoyed our vacation. The elevator came in handy and the beach access was outstanding. Highly recommend for your next family getaway! The only thing that could have been improved was the communication with the property management company and more clarity around Beach access.

Amazing

This house is awesome! It's comfortable, clean, beautiful and had everything we needed to cook for the weekend. We had a wonderful weekend with friends just relaxing and enjoying the view! This is our second time renting this house in January for a weekend retreat and we love it! Also, it's easy to book and rental management is super great to communicate with.

Family trip to Clear Skies

Fantastic house. 3 families with kids 1, 13,15, 15 and 16. We never felt like we were cramped at all. 3 levels of view to the ocean which is very nice. The only thing we felt a little odd was the family room and kitchen being on the 4th floor but it was a nice view for dinner! Convenient to the south entrance t on the island only 2 doors down from the feeder road with a convenience store across the street. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property

We have never been ot Oak Island and this was a family vacation with our kids and grandkids. Beautiful home inside and out. Several options for sitting areas. Puzzles, games, lots of tvs. There was something for everyone. The best part was the view. I definitely would recommend this place. The elevator helped so much with unloading all of our luggage and groceries to the necessary floor

Location and home beautiful but it was filthy!

Location and home were beautiful but it was filthy! There was blood and dirt on the two main bedroom sheets, when we arrived sand all over the floors and no rug to wipe your feet, driveway and parking had piles of sand all over it so no way to keep sand from the house, elevator was not in working condition but was repaired, They were no dish towels, dish cloths, potholders, no broom, House smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There was one review on the website and it also said cleanliness was subpar. The home was beautiful the location was amazing but I would not recommend. I have never written a Negative review however this one warranted it!

Great house, poor communication

This is a beautiful home with a great layout. However, the cleanliness was subpar, especially in times of covid. We had a few maintenance issues and followed instructions to email maintenance. Never received a response. Also had an issue with wifi last day (the only day it stormed) and actually called rental company and spoke to someone. Again, never received further communication or assistance. There were no instructions in the home or in email correspondence regarding elevator. My mother is handicapped and we had a lot of difficulty operating without any instructions the first few days. Overall we liked the house and would stay again but definitely needs better management.
