License # 3031 Free standing cabin in a quiet area, has a large deck with wonderful views and a HOT TUB to enjoy the views, gas BBQ grill, Full kitchen, internet with Wi-Fi, large smart TV in living room and smart tv's in the two bedrooms with new queen beds, cabin is for four people, a pack and play is available upon request (infants are not counted as part of the 4 people limit), combo washer/dryer, in town location close to everything. Everything is new on the inside, from the kitchen items to furniture and mattresses.

Great cabin with a great location and hosts

We had the pleasure of staying at Mr. Dave’s cabin in Estes Park, Colorado, and it was an experience we’ll always cherish. From the moment we arrived, we were thoroughly impressed with how immaculately clean and inviting the cabin was. A Great Honeymoon Cabin

The host made all the difference!

We chose this property for it's features which were just perfect for our anniversary weekend. We'd never been to Estes Park before. The beauty of the area including Rocky mountain State Park were breathtaking. But one thing that made the trip complete were the hosts. They were so attentive to our questions and needs, and went far beyond expectations to make sure we had the best experience possible. We are so grateful for them and finding this gem! Little Cabin on the Rocks

Cabin was very clean and well stocked with necessities. Dave and Diane are very gracious hosts. The only drawback (if there is one) is that the bathroom and shower are very small. Otherwise, the cabin is in a very convenient location to visit downtown Estes Park, RMNP, Boulder and Fort Collins. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else.

Cozy Cabin on the Rocks

We have had an excellent stay at the Cabin on the Rocks. Dave and Diane have been so accommodating. They were available to us for anything we needed and communicated clearly from the time we booked through the time we checked out. They had the house clean and had coffee and snacks and many other things we may have needed ready for us. These small gestures showed how kind and caring they are towards their guests. They offered suggestions for things to do and places to eat and they even left us a little gift. We would choose to stay here again any time we are in town! We highly suggest staying at this cozy cabin!

Beautiful property in a beautiful location

A beautiful little cabin full of thoughtful details: snacks, bottled water, even labeled light switches. The owner was kind and responsive. The location is fantastic! Easy access to Estes Park (restaurants, shops), very close to Rocky Mountain National Park, and the neighborhood was still calm and quiet. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day of hiking. Highly recommend!

Our family of four really enjoyed staying at this property! Dave and Diane were amazing hosts, they thought of everything we could possibly need, and more. Dave was also amazing at checking in with us; he let us know on our drive in that there were road closures due to wildfires and walked us through different paths to take. He also checked in a few times during the week. As a family with very busy summer schedules, this was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet. After busy days visiting the fun places of Estes Park, each night we really enjoyed the little things the cabin offered— numerous board games out on the deck, the snacks and the kids got a kick out of the popcorn popper! Relaxing in the hot tub, taking in the beautiful views and occasional backyard wildlife visitor— we couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Perfect family vacation in the cozy cabin

This cozy little cabin was perfect for our family of four. It was well stocked with everything we would need, and the hosts provided very helpful instructions and labels. We really appreciated thoughtful welcome basket. The kids loved the basket and the hot tub. We enjoyed our nights lounging in the hot tub after grilling dinner and eating on the deck. We did reach out to the host a couple of times, and they were very helpful and responsive. The location was perfect, central to everywhere we wanted to go. It is clear the hosts put a lot of time and care into maintaining this property and their rental business. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and Perfect

Cabin on the rocks was everything plus more, as advertised. From the moment we arrived, you could feel the care that goes into this place. The owners were wonderful. Wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Very accommodating. A wonderful gift ornament was provided as a keepsake. Two plush animals for our children. A wonderful basket with snacks. This was wonderful to have while we unpacked before we could go to store. The small touches were wonderful. We loved the place and felt very welcome. The view and hot tub were great. 10 out of 10.

Perfect Stay!

Great location - close to RMNP and downtown Estes! Loved watching the fireworks from the deck. Very clean property and the owners stayed in touch and even allowed us to get in a couple hours sooner than scheduled. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Cabin by RMNP

We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs over the years and this was one of our favorites! The little touches from the owners were above and beyond. From the stuffed animals they left for our kids to the extra towels and snacks, we truly felt welcome in their home. The cabin was so clean and cute, and the hot tub was amazing after long days of hiking. Our kids enjoyed playing the games they had and playing on “chipmunk crossing.” It was a quick drive to RMNP and just minutes from downtown Estes. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Wish we could have stayed longer

When I walked inside I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well maintained this cabin was. The photos did not do it justice! The mountain views were wonderful and the neighborhood was very quiet. Some houses are nearby but did not take away from a cozy private cabin feeling. The cabin was fully stocked with extra towels and everything we needed for our stay. There was a nice assortment of snacks and candy that we did have to eventually hide from my 8 year old nephew lol . Everything was labeled which made finding things simple. One morning I went for a jog down to and around Lake Estes and back. It was just over 5 miles in total. Took only a few minutes to get down the hill to the park area, coming back up the hill was a bit more challenging lol. The highlight of our stay was the young brown bear that came through the yard one evening while we were having dinner on the back deck! I definitely hope to come back one day!

Relaxing Birthday Getaway

We have been married over 43 years. We have 2 adult children, a wonderful son-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters. We have 2 fur babies, an Akita and a yorkie. The yorkie of course rules the house. We moved to Estes Park in 1998. Dave's family was the original owners of Peaceful Valley. The chapel on the side of the Mountain was a memorial for his grandfather, Paul Boehm. Dave and I were married in that chapel.
We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, family time and of course Bronco Football.

Why they chose this property

Our "little" cabin on the Rocks, is a free standing home and offers beautiful views, a quiet area, large deck with a Hot tub, gas BBQ grill, Outdoor eating area and separate gathering area. Cabin has a gas wood stove in the living area. Driveway for private parking.
Bring the outdoors in with the large glass doors that look onto the deck and the views.
EVERYTHING in the cabin from small appliances, kitchen items, to furnishings including mattresses, are new as of 7/1/2022. We are local owners and clean and manage this cabin by ourselves. NO management or cleaning companies.
