The Back Woods Cabin has a charming, cozy interior with prim decor.
Spend your time relaxing on the porch enjoying the serenity of the woods or relaxing in the hot tub. At night sit around the fire roasting hot dogs & making smores. In the morning sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch for wildlife.
The private cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or anniversary trip. So leave your troubles behind and come make memories & enjoy a quiet, peaceful time at this retreat that is off the beaten path. Our cabin has all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy your time in the mountains. You will feel at home with the comfy bed & the kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need including coffee & a coffee pot. The living room includes a comfortable sofa & flat screen Dish tv.
Located off Edwards Road just minutes from town & restaurants. If you are planning a fun, relaxing getaway The Back Woods Cabin is the cabin for you!

This was our second stay at the cabin. Perfectly quiet area, within driving distance to shops and restaurants. The cabin is rustic and charming but is stocked with all the essentials. Love this place!

We chose this beautiful rustic cabin for our honeymoon. Oddly enough we were sweethearts at 15 and reconnected at a class reunion a widow and divoricee and got married at 63 years of age. This cabin was such a sweet place rustic like my husband and primitive country like me

Amazing is an understatement
We could live here. Such a cute place and the property pond provided hours of entertainment. We sat by the firepit and watched a Female Belted Kingfisher catch and eat fish.

The cabin is everything we thought it would be. Decorated beautifully and so rustic. The bed is very comfy, and I would love to know where the blanket was purchased from. It was so soft and warm even though it was thin blanket. The hot tub was heavenly. Just the view alone makes you not one to leave the property. We will certainly go back again.

Lisa was wonderful, immediately responded to all my questions before the trip. The cabin was amazing! Clean and everything i needed was there. Hot tub was heaven! The only small glitch is that the kittens terrorized my 80 pound pup, ! but i was able to keep them apart. I will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. Unfortunately it rained the whole time but that was ok. We were still able to sit on the porch. I wish there was more information about the cabin. It is an authentic cabin? Our dog was afraid of the cats after they hissed at him. When we opened the door to go out, he kept looking around the corner to make sure they were gone.

RELAXING
My wife and I took a few days to get away from the craziness in this world today. This place far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, beautiful, and everything necessary to unwind. From the rustic feel of the cabin to the pond right outside the front door, we couldn't have asked for more. Plus, civilization was only a short drive for dinner or sitting in the bar, just enjoying each others company. This was definitely one of our favorite get-aways!

My name is Lisa Martin & my husband is Merv.
We both love old log cabins & peaceful settings.
It had been a dream of ours to restore a old log cabin.
We built this cabin to rent out & share with others.
The cabin was orginally from Manhiem. We numbered the logs tore it down & moved them to this property. My husband & son built the cabin & set it back up. Every minute of spare time they had they worked on it. It took around 1 year to complete. We would love you to come & stay!

This is an wonderful place to enjoy the woods and nature. It is peaceful & secluded. It is a serene place for a restored old log cabin.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the solitude & wildlife while staying at the cabin. It is a great place to unwind! Enjoy sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch overlooking the pond. Listen to the birds, watch for the deer, in the spring listen to the peepers.
