- EOWG Home PageThe Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) is holding a series of meetings hosted by Microsoft and Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) on 3-5 September 2003 in Dublin, Ireland:
Participation in the EOWG face-to-face meeting on 5 September 2003 is open to participants in good standing of W3C/WAI's Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG), and to people interested in joining the EOWG.
People who are interested in attending the 5 September meeting, and who are not already participants of EOWG, should read the EOWG Charter and how to join page, and send the requested information before registering for the meeting.
Pre-registration is required by 27 August 2003. (Separate pre-registration is required for the Web Accessibility Networking Meeting on 3 September and Web Accessibility Evaluation Exchange on 4 September.)

The hotels listed below are held in conjunction with the AAATE conference earlier in the week. Accommodations at UCD are also available through the AAATE conference. For information see, http://atireland.ie/aaate/travel/accommodation.htm.
There a number of guesthouses and bed/breakfasts situated around UCD. For a listing of guesthouses and bed and breakfasts, search the Irish Tourist Board Web site and look for accommodation in Dublin/South in the areas of Ballsbridge, Donnybrook, or Merrion Road.
Dublin is served by one airport: Dublin International Airport (DUB), on the city's north side. Transportation options from the airport include:
Bus Eireann provide a nationwide bus service, and most major population areas have a direct link to Dublin. All Dublin services terminate in Busaras (the Central Bus Station, Amiens St.). It is a short walk from Bursars to O'Connell Street in city centre, where there are connecting buses to UCD. More information is available at the Bus Eireann Web site.
Dublin is served by two main railway stations: Connolly and Heuston. From Connolly Station it is a short walk to O'Connell Street in city centre, where there are connecting buses to UCD. There are frequent connecting services from Heuston to city centre. More information is available at the Iarnr�ad Eireann (Irish Rail) Web site.
Dublin Bus numbers 3, 10, 11B, and 17 all provide direct bus services to UCD. The numbers 3, 10, and 11B can be boarded at O'Connell Street in city centre. For timetable information is available through Dublin Bus, by seraching for "University College Dublin"
There are usually an adequate number of taxis in operation in the city centre at any given time. It is possible to hail a taxi from the street, and convenient taxi ranks are located outside Wynn's Hotel on Middle Abbey Street, opposite the Virgin Megastore on Aston Quay, and opposite the Bank of Ireland on Dame Street. The fare from city centre to UCD is approximately €10-12, depending on traffic and the time of day.
