Todd joined WABI in September 2001 and is currently the weekday morning and noon Meteorologist.
Originally from Medway, Massachusetts, Todd’s love of weather began in elementary school, always watching the Meteorologists in Boston, comparing their forecasts (especially during snowstorms) and hoping for a “snow day”.
After graduating high school, Todd headed north to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from Lyndon State College (Go Hornets!) in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Todd’s first taste of TV weather was on Lyndon’s own, student run television station which broadcast news, weather and sports five days a week to homes throughout the Northeast Kingdom. Shortly after graduation, Todd landed his first job in the real world at WFQX, a FOX television station in Cadillac, Michigan. After two years in Michigan, the morning position opened up at WABI so Todd and his wife Lee jumped at the chance to move and work closer to family, and the rest is history.
Todd is active in the local community, visiting schools and talking to students about all things weather. In his free time, you can find Todd on a local baseball or softball field volunteering his time for the local Little League organization, spending time with his wife and kids or in the kitchen fine tuning his recipe for the best salsa on Earth.
Snow shower activity will exit the area by mid-morning followed by a mix of sun and clouds for the remainder of the day as high pressure builds into the region.
Clouds will be more prevalent over northern and eastern areas through the morning hours with breaks of sunshine developing in these areas this afternoon.
Today’s weather will pretty much be a carbon copy of our Tuesday as another upper-level disturbance is forecast to move through the region.
Upper-level energy moving into the region combined with an unstable atmosphere over the state will lead to a good chance for some scattered rain and snow showers developing from late morning through the evening hours.
Snow may be moderate to heavy at times this afternoon and evening.
Rain will continue to gradually mix with... and then change to... snow from west to east through the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will be warmer today with highs topping off in the upper 40s to mid-50s this afternoon.
Clouds will continue to gradually give way to brightening skies from northwest to southeast across the state this afternoon as high pressure builds in.
Rain will continue this afternoon... possibly heavy at times as a cold front continues to slowly cross the state.
Low pressure... passing to our north.... will pull a cold front towards the state tonight.
The gray and gloomy conditions will continue across much of the state for the remainder of the day.
If you have travel plans tonight... give yourself some extra time as the fog could be dense in spots.

The northwest wind will continue to gradually diminish today as high pressure noses its way into the region allowing the pressure gradient to relax.
Strong low pressure over the Maritimes and high pressure to our west will keep the pressure gradient tight over the region... continuing the strong west/northwest winds with gusts to 40-50 MPH possible throughout the day.
The storm which brought us the snow, sleet and freezing rain yesterday will be spinning across the Maritimes today.

A weak disturbance will cross the state this morning giving us a chance for some scattered snow showers especially north of Bangor.

Temperatures today will climb to the mid-teens to around 20° north and 20s near 30° elsewhere.
Snow showers could leave a coating to an inch or two of accumulation in spots throughout the day.
