Stuart Bingham once left an impression on Jimmy White with a less-than-graceful bodily function mid-match.
'The Whirlwind' had the script flipped on him when bold Bingham couldn't wait for a toilet break to pass gas. Recalling an event that even caught Tooting-born White, 62, off guard, snooker star Bingham was all bluster as reminisced about his impromptu parp.
White was stunned during their Crucible clash as Bingham broke wind, and it wasn't only the table talents who took notice. But 'Ball-run' appeared unashamed as he recounted the incident years after the fact.

Bingham revealed on The Ball Run podcast (via The Mirror): "I remember at the Crucible, my first time after I beat Hendry I played Jimmy and I farted! I think the front two rows got the whiff of it.
"Eirian Williams, he was reffing. I remember going back to my chair, I farted, played a shot and it was foul and a miss. I stood back to the chair and I saw Jimmy just move away from the chair.
"He looked at me and said, 'was that you? ' and I went, 'oh, I'm sorry.' Then the ref caught it and he moved to the other side. One of those silent but deadly ones!"

The duo's only encounter at the Crucible took place in the last 16 of the 2000 World Championship. And it was there that White, a seasoned pro with 20 years under his belt, defeated relative newcomer Bingham 13-9.
Players may be allowed to take toilet breaks between frames, but it's difficult to resist when nature calls. And it seems the entire room had to endure Bingham's breeze along with him.
Currently ranked 25th in the world, Bingham is striving to climb the rankings following a last-16 departure at the Northern Ireland Open last week. He expressed disappointment after losing 4-3 to Shaun Murphy after leading the match 3-1, though he's hopeful his encouraging efforts will soon lead to a big win.
