The Artistic Representations series here on Wanderarti aims to show destinations from the different viewpoints of artists, offering a glimpse into other worlds and perspectives. Nothing shows this as well as featuring one specific landmark, so today I’ve taken the incredible Taj Mahal in India and collected and curated a selection of amazingly colourful paintings and sketches of it for your viewing pleasure.
Each piece of work shows the Taj Mahal in a new light, revealing the artist’s thoughts about the landmark. I love exploring different places through the eyes of artists, and, as I haven’t been to the Taj Mahal yet, today’s post was particularly exciting for me to put together!
