Theresa May Takes Helm As First Female British Prime Minister Since Margaret Thatcher

Theresa May officially becomes prime minister of Britain today, the second woman in British history — after Margaret Thatcher — to fill the position. May served six years as the country's home secretary, overseeing domestic issues including immigration.

The BBC's Rob Watson tells Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson that one of her main tasks as prime minister will be to help Britain exit from the European Union.
