Justin H. Min, known for his roles in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy and the dark comedy series Beef, is set to star in the upcoming indie film Handle With Care. The film, written and directed by newcomer Matthew James Thompson, will explore the messy realities of divorce with a comedic and cynical edge.
Min will play Cole, a newly divorced man grappling with the emotional and legal fallout of his short-lived marriage. Forced to sell his unopened wedding gifts online, Cole embarks on a journey of self-discovery and reflection on the value of relationships and the “wedding industrial complex.”

“Matthew has written a beautiful story about the complexities and messiness of divorce and the surprising, vital connections we make along the way,” says Min. “Collaborating with him and our cast and crew has been a dream, and there’s no better backdrop than New York City to help bring this story to life.”
Handle With Care also stars Nicole Brydon Bloom (The Gilded Age) as Cole’s ex-wife, and Elizabeth Paige (Modern Love) and Jon Rudnitsky (Saturday Night Live) as his best friends. The film, produced by White Whale, was shot on location in New York City in October.
