[edit]- Can you add some more examples from different domains, or otherwise clarify the intended scope here? ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:21, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

- Wait From reading the description it's not clear to me what the property does. Is it about metadata stored in the item or metadata stored by the subject that's represented by the item? ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 13:23, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
- ChristianKl, it is about metadata stored by the subject that's represented by the item. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 23:17, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- Telling me what the property is about, does nothing to answer my concern besides suggesting that the current description is unfit. The description of it should be clear enough to be understood by people (and be able to be translated). ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 07:26, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

WikiProject Informatics has more than 50 participants and couldn't be pinged. Please post on the WikiProject's talk page instead. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 21:11, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Tinker Bell: please see ChristianKl`s comment and answer that. otherwise we couldn't proceed. Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 16:47, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
- @ZI Jony: Done. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 20:15, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: what is your opinion? Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 06:24, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- The current description doesn't match the intent. The description speaks about the metadata stored in the item and not what's represented by the item. It would also be nice to know whether there's any prior art of how the domain is already modeled. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 10:38, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: I corrected it. . --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 03:18, 20 December 2019 (UTC)

- What about entitys with lots of metadata, for example Exchangeable image file format (Q196465) and Extensible Metadata Platform (Q27153)? And is it applicable to databases like Virtual International Authority File (Q54919), Wikidata (Q2013) and Wikimedia Commons (Q565)?
- @Midleading: This also can be used for databases and standards, e.g.: Exchangeable image file format (Q196465) can store the values that now are stored on has part(s) (P527). I think we can store the properties that a database supports, but, in cases like Wikidata (Q2013), that supports thousands of properties, I think it wouldn't be necessary or useful. In fact, I want this property to be used on any thing that can store structured data. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 03:18, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Tinker Bell: Can you provide more examples? Sorry I didn't see much of the usefulness of this property. 轻语者 (talk) 07:45, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
- @轻语者: I've added some examples from other open proposals that overlap with this proposal: provides data and Wikipedia infobox field. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 05:54, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
