Vilma Matulić (née Vodanović, born 1982) is a Croatian restorer, museum worker and photographer. She graduated in restoration from the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Split (Umjetnička akademija u Split) in 2005. Since 2008 she has been working at the Museum of Stari Grad (Muzej Staroga Grad) and since 1 February 2024 she has been its director.[1]

Exhibitions

  • Gradovi ispod grada / Towns Under the Town, Gallery of St. Jerome, Stari Grad, 15-30 June 2022. Exhibition on the rescue archaeological research of the underground of Srinjo Kolo Street and its surroundings (St. Stephen's Square). The survey preceded the reconstruction of the water pipeline in this area. During the research, Roman mosaics from the 2nd-3rd centuries AD were (re)discovered.[2]
  • Nihil Occultum: Nothing is Hidden, an exhibition of photographs from Petar Hektorović's Tvrdalj Villa, where photographic still lifes are combined with images that are created on the principle of camera obscura thanks to the holes in the shutters, Tvrdalj, September 2023.[3]The photographs are also used as illustrations for the book Nihil Occultum: Camera Obscura and Riddles at Hektorović's Tvrdalj Castle by British linguist Wendy Gibbons.
