The Gay Knights were protesters organized by Stan Berg in Indianapolis, Indiana against Indianapolis Police Department harassment of the LGBTQ+ community.[1][2]
History
[edit]In 1984, Stan Berg organized a series of protests called Gay Knights on the Circle in response to increased Indianapolis Police Department (IPD) harassment and surveillance of the LGBTQ+ community that gathered on Monument Circle to socialize.
