Jarrod Parker is a pitcher who was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball 9th overall in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft.[1][2] He was drafted straight out of high school from Norwell High School in Ossian, Indiana.
College
He was going to attend Georgia Tech if he did not sign with the Diamondbacks, but he signed with them with around 2 hours left to sign. Some had made a lot of hype about him as a first round pick right out of H.S. but he is highly regarded.
