The Massacre of Cërrik (Template:Country data Masakra e Cërrikut) was the killing of army officers of the Garda e Republikës in Cërrik during the 1997 rebellion in Albania.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

The attack was led by two Socialist Party members, the head of the Socialist Party in Cërrik, Llazar Bici, and the deputy leaders of the Socialist Party, Met Bozi.

Background

The terrorist attack was ordered by the Socialist Party in order to destabilise the country.[9][dubious – discuss]

The following officers of the national guard were killed or buried in Cërrik.
