Move

This article was moved to include Madonna's name as a disambiguator, but I don't think it is necessary. I moved the content back since there was no discussion to move the article. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:44, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 27 February 2015

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Not moved. EdJohnston (talk) 02:25, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ghosttown (Madonna song)Ghosttown (song) – no other song uses this title with "Ghosttown" as one word – Snuggums (talk / edits) 23:51, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:56, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:SMALLDETAILS. The spelling variation doesn't seem sufficient enough to distinguish itself from other song article titles that include a space in between the words "Ghost" and "Town". Steel1943 (talk) 00:12, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry, just now seeing this discussion after moving the content back to "Ghosttown (song)", which is where I think it should live. I moved since there was no discussion to include Madonna as a disambiguator and the redirect was created months ago without dissenting opinion. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:46, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Cover

The German CD single has a differnet artwork. The final cover pic has a huge white "Madonna" font on it. Maybe someone can change it here.

UK Physical Singles chart.

Madonna's Ghosttown single peaked at Number 2 on the UK's Physical singles sales chart. Surly that deserves a mention or to be put in the charts section? The same is done for the sub US charts!
