Mark Andrew Bartosic (born June 21, 1961) is an American prelate of the Catholic Church who is an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Biography

Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago

On May 21, 1994, Bartosic was ordained to the priesthood. Pope Francis appointed Bartosic auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago on July 3, 2018.[1][2] On September 17, 2018, Bartosic was consecrated as a bishop.

Bartosic originally considered becoming an actor before he entered the seminary.[3]
