License tagging for Image:Max9 Logo2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Max9 Logo2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Screenshot for 3ds max

I'm wondering why it's so important to add a screenshot, where tools from Orionflame are used, to the article about 3ds Max? If any screenshots are to be included, they should probably reflect what a standard use of 3ds Max might look like. Please don't revert it again without discussing it in the talk page first. --Strangnet 22:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for not discussing the image. Really appreciate it. Perhaps I'll rephrase: why should an orionflame image be used in the article about 3ds max? --Strangnet 09:22, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks for replying kindly. I saw the image at the Tech Art show at GDC 2007 and thought it's cool. And since the last image was kind of old and not so attractive (shoe image), I replaced it with the one I saw. To me it's better, clearer as in not cluttered, and lastly a more recent image that also shows using Max on Vista (by looking at the menubar). If the image is really not suitable, you are right, better to remove it. I don't usually write here, but when I see something that looks good, I wouldn't mind showing it off.

Regards.
