Wrong category?

[edit]

The taxobox says this is near threatened, but the category is "extinct in the wild." Somebody clear this up, please. HoCkEy PUCK 20:11, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was just going to say the same thing! User:Bob the Wikipedian 00:29, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would not characterize this tree as small. The one at the New York Botanical Garden is massive with a bole at least three feet in diameter. (jacomo (talk) 00:50, 25 July 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Redirects

[edit]

The Genus should redirect should be made into a seperate article to discuss the live species and the extinct species which are known from the fossil record. Is there any objection to the creation of a species article and revamp of the Genus page?--Kevmin (talk) 08:53, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
