Template for excessive details

IAFD film ID -> IAFD film UUID

Old IAFD film IDs (d:Property:P5098) are used in this template: Template:IAFD movie. IAFD has recently started using UUIDs for films. The old links still work. However, the old IDs are no longer visible on the website. As of today, the UUID can be retrieved from Wikidata: d:Property:P12654. All Wikidata items with an old film ID now also have a new film UUID. It would be advisable to adapt your template. -- Reise Reise (talk) 16:48, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Text direction template

I need a template that can rearrange text from left-to-right to right-to-left and vice versa that can be used for scripts which were written in boustrophedon or otherwise had no specific writing directions. It should look similar to {{lang}}.

I haven't been able to find any already existing template with this function so far, so would it be feasible to create this? Antiquistik (talk) 00:06, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Antiquistik: are you looking from something along the lines of {{rtl}} and {{ltr}}? LittlePuppers (talk) 01:41, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Substitute page name in Template:Sfd-t

Please can Template:Sfd-t and Template:Sfr-t be amended to subst the full page name of the template as the section name for the discussion? At the moment, articles which transclude a stub showing these templates look for the article name as the section heading rather than the stub template name. Template:Template for discussion substitutes the page name correctly, but I don't understand the code well enough to copy it myself. – Fayenatic London 10:57, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should be fixed now, the pagename wasn't marked for recursive substitution. WelpThatWorked (talk) 20:18, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DJSI World Index

{{DJSI World}}

As per request above, would be similar to

{{AEX companies}}

But with companies in the DJSI World Index.

"Fictional characters with..." notices

Category:Fictional characters with superhuman strength, Category:Fictional characters with accelerated healing and other categories have the "Must be a defining trait" box on top. I'd like them all to be consolidated into a single template to allow them all to be edited at once. Air on White (talk) 00:09, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Air on White: I created Template:Must be a defining trait. You can replace the box with the template. Please write template documentation if possible. Thanks. Jeeputer Talk 10:58, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
