Brad Nowell was 28 when he died.
Might be worth mentioning that Corona is used as the jingle for Jackass.
Age miscalculation etc.
Do some simple math, boneheads - not only was D. not 27 when he died, he was almost 29 (would have turned 29 on April 1, 1986). nice try though.
Also, the note that "Corona" is the "Jackass" theme so obviously belongs on the Minutemen page and/or the Double Nickels page (if it exists) that you should get a swift kick for even suggesting it here. Wikipedia is too saturated with useless pop culture trivia as it is. get a freaking life (says the guy editing a talk page no one will ever read). R0m23 18:24, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Has no one here seen a minutemen record? The article should be titled 'd._boon' these days; we've got case control.
Age facts:
"Do some simple math, boneheads - not only was D. not 27 when he died, he was almost 29 (would have turned 29 on April 1, 1986)."
-- Um. Check your own math there, sport. If he was born April 1, 1958, then he turned 27 on April 1, 1985, and was still 27 on Dec. 22, 1985. "Nice try, though."JohnMason (talk) 23:46, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
Influence
"and [they] have also inspired punk and rock bands such as Wire, Gang of Four, The Pop Group, Richard Hell and the Voidoids, and Urinals." None of those examples makes sense chronologically. Minutemen were and are certainly influential, but not on these bands/musicians.JohnMason (talk) 23:08, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
