Diddy Kong (Japanese: ディディーコング, Hepburn: Didī Kongu) is a character created and designed by the British game developers Gregg Mayles and Kevin Bayliss for the Japanese game company Nintendo. He is one of the main characters of the Donkey Kong franchise and a recurring character in the Mario franchise.
