Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Pattavali, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Pbritti (talk) 04:37, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Pbritti Greetings! I think there was a misunderstanding. What @Sanmarg Jain did was link "Devardhigani Kshamashraman" to the article dedicated to him on the Pattavali page. Hemchandra Jain (talk) 04:21, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Sanmarg Jain! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Prem Suri several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Prem Suri, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. — kashmīrī TALK 12:44, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Prem Suri. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.kashmīrī TALK 12:51, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kashmiri,
I've seen your text and I've made sone modification according to your explanation. I've removed some words that you've highlighted. I'm not here to engage in any edit war. But I want to add more content about him.
Kindly tell me more changes that I can do to make this article more effective. Please give me suggestions, I'll apply the same in this article and many more articles in future. I'm new to Wikipedia so I'm learning. Please don't remove the whole edit work. tell me your suggestios, I'll consider it and apply on this article. So both side, there will be win win situation.
Thank you so much:) Sanmarg Jain (talk) 13:57, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Sanmarg Jain, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Devardhi (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 09:40, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wikishovel,
I don't know who is devardhi. Also I'm not aware of what and why he is doing this. I'm new to Wikipedia and don't know more about this working. I've only created a new page and added more information on Wikipedia with valid citations.
Kindly give me more suggestions, it'll be really helpful for me for this article and in future too.
Thank you. Sanmarg Jain (talk) 10:18, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Draft:Vimalsagarsuri, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Qcne (talk) 12:27, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Kashmiri further submissions of the Draft:Vimalsagarsuri in it's current form will lead to your account being blocked.
Do not submit it again without a complete re-write to comply with our very strict neutrality policies. It is forbidden to use Wikipedia for promotion.

Oops. Sorry. Well, they got blocked in any case. Qcne (talk) 13:51, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vimalsagarsuri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:

I am committed to contributing constructively and adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines. I apologize for any past actions that may have caused concern and assure you of my dedication to positive contributions.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action, or you have not responded to questions raised during that time. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and

(Non-administrator comment, again) Unblock requests aren't about how polite or formal you write them (beyond the minimum expected level of politeness), but they should show that you understand why you were blocked, and are able to explain in your own words what you did wrong and how you plan to not do it again.
You shouldn't use generic wording like "align with Wikipedia's guidelines" or "dedication to positive contributions", but explain in more specific ways what you plan to do differently. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 14:49, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
