Eternal Atake 2 is the upcoming fourth album by American rapper and singer Lil Uzi Vert. It is expected to be released on November 1, 2024 through Generation Now and Atlantic Records. It is preceded by the single "Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme)". The album serves as a sequel to Lil Uzi Vert's second studio album Eternal Atake (2020), which was released four years earlier. It also serves as a a follow-up to their third studio album Pink Tape (2023).

Background

After the release of Pink Tape, Uzi teased their upcoming fifth mixtape Barter 16 after Uzi had promised that if the project went number 1 on the Billboard 200, this would be released next.[1][2] On August 16, 2023, Uzi teased the artwork cover for the mixtape on Instagram, which appears similar to the artwork of Young Thug's debut commercial mixtape, Barter 6 (2015).[3] On August 19, 2023, multiple songs from Barter 16 were leaked on the internet, leading to it eventually being scrapped and Uzi's focus going towards Luv Is Rage 3.[4]

On September 24, 2024, in an interview with Mysteryfashionist, Uzi first teased the existence of a sequel to Eternal Atake.

I'm cooked, but I gotta drop Eternal Atake.

On October 23, 2024, Uzi released "Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme)" without promotion or prior announcement, with the song's cover displaying a white stylized keyhole with the term "EA2", an abbrevation of Eternal Atake 2.[5] Later that day, Uzi's releases on streaming services were updated with a white translucent filter displaying the stylized keyhole placed over their covers. Later that night, Uzi reactivated their Twitter and Instagram accounts, through which they officially announced the album and revealed its cover and album trailer. The album's release date, as well as its 16-song tracklist, were revealed shortly thereafter through the iTunes Store.
