HD 79498

  HD 79498 is a star located approximately 160 light years away in the constellation Cancer. It has a right ascension of 09h 15m 09s and a declination of 23°22'32". 
  This G5 spectral class star has an apparent magnitude of 8.03 and an absolute magnitude that has not yet been measured. An extrasolar planet was detected around HD 79498 using a small wobble in it's orbit. The planet was ultimately named HD 79498b by the IAU after it's parent star.
