The St. Tyfi's Church, is a small Anglican church built on the Dinefwr Park estate near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The church is no longer used for religious purposes and has been adapted as a visitor interpretation centre on the estate which is now the Dinefwr Park National Nature Reserve. Newton House, the main residence on the estate, is a Grade II* listed country house.[1]
The church was designated as a Grade II listed building on 18 March 1988, being listed because it is a "church of moderate architectural interest in an exceptional location at Dynevor Park, with a fine steeply sloping burial ground with old headstones". The church is a small stone church, first constructed in medieval times, but almost entirely rebuilt in the second half of the nineteenth century. The architect may have been R Kyrke Pearson from Oswestry, who redesigned Newton House for Lord Dynevor. It has rubble-stone facings, gable parapets and a stone slate roof. The interior has an open, arched-brace roof with collar-beams and stone corbels.[2]
