"Help Me" is a song written by Larry Gatlin.

In 1972 Kris Kristofferson covered it on his album Jesus Was a Capricorn and subsequently released it on a single as the other side to "Why Me".

In 1973 Connie Smith covered "Help Me" on her album God Is Abundant.

Elvis Presley released the song on a single in 1974 with "If You Talk in Your Sleep" on the opposite side.[1] As "Help Me / When You Talk in Your Sleep" the single reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart on the week of August 10, 1974.[2]
