This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Christopher Robert Coste, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Chris Coste. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:28, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You just moved List of guerrillas to List of guerrilla fighters. However, I guess you don't have much experience with moving articles yet, because your move failed to follow move procedures.

First, on a technical level, you cut-and-pasted the contents of the old location into the new location. This sort of move is improper, because it separates the article's history. And it also separates the existing talk page from the article. Instead, you're supposed to click on the move tab (located between the history and watch tabs) and fill out the form with the new location. A move is possible if there is nothing at the new name, or nothing in the history but a redirect to the old name. Otherwise, it requires an administrator. In this case, as a registered editor, you could have used the move tab; but now that your preferred location has a history, it will take an admin.

Second, there was no discussion of your move. It's considered good form to mention something on the talk page about your intentions, explaining why you think the new name would be better, and gauging the reaction. If there is opposition, you can use the procedures for contested moves. Again, you didn't even explain your reasons even after the move.

If you would still like to move the article, see Requested moves. --Groggy Dice T | C 12:41, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Trespass (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 00:52, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just a word to the wise. The Wikipedia formatting conventions (see Wikipedia:Manual of Style) suggest albums should be formatted thus - Albums; and singles and/or individual songs - "Songs". Happy editing.

A tag has been placed on Dragster (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is really disappointing. It took me quite a while to build that page. The fact that the band was included in a compilation by Lars Ulrich and Geoff Barton about notable NWOBHM era bands should be reason enough to let the article stay.

Renaming

Hi, could you please confirm your request at w:nl:WP:HA by leaving a message here (on this talk page) while logged in to your account. This to confirm that you are in fact the person who placed the request. Thanks. -- Taketa (talk) 17:09, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is indeed me. I am requesting an usurpation of the username Gus on nl.wikipedia.org/ in order to unify my account (SUL). Thanks. - Gus (T, C) 2010-11-02 20:31Z
