Courthouse News Service is a news service subscribed to by law firms based in Pasadena, California, US and has reporters in almost every major market in the US.[1] It offers both free and paid services. Unlike CourtExpress and CourtLink, it does not provide comprehensive docket information, but alerts readers to new filings and rulings.[2]

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the group received between US$2 million and $5 million in federally-backed small business loans from City National Bank as part of the Paycheck Protection Program. The organization stated it would help them retain 256 employees.[3][4]
